Peraton is looking for an Automation Engineer with a foundation in Azure, while possessing pipeline and automation experience to support development and modernization of a multi-cloud government environment with 70+ customer tenants and growing. Aside from technical qualifications, applicant should have effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
The applicant must have extensive automation experience and cloud knowledge, and able to cite hands-on experience with integration, system analysis or programming, including developing systems requirements and design specifications. Experience in both Azure and AWS is preferred. The Automation Engineer will be responsible for developing new pipelines, enhancing existing pipelines, providing expert troubleshooting, and resolving complex incidents in support of the managed automation infrastructure. A passion for performance, strong desire for quality conformance, and attention to detail are prerequisites for this position.

Required Certification: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
Required pipeline and infrastructure automation experience:
Experience with automation and integration experience on cloud services and infrastructure.
Extensive hands-on experience with automation involving a wide range of Azure services including but not limited to Azure VMs, Azure AD, Azure Networking, Azure App Services, Storage, and Databases.
Experience with incident management, root cause analysis, and resolving high-priority incidents in large, multi-tenant environments.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of Azure GovCloud and deploying in Government environments.
Exemplary communication, analytical skills, and technical knowledge across the client environment.
Ability to produce concise and clear technical documentation.
Preferred Certifications:
Specialty in AT LEAST ONE of the following areas is desired:
Public Trust- Ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust Security Clearance (called “Entry on Duty”)
