Cloud Infrastructure Architect

In this role, you'll blend your deep expertise in cloud platforms, systems engineering, and DevOps practices. You'll be instrumental in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions. A strong foundation in AWS, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD pipelines is essential. What You'll Do

As a Cloud Infrastructure Architect, you'll be a key player on a long-term, multi-year contract, providing crucial systems engineering and integration support across a diverse portfolio of projects for our customer. Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing cloud-native solutions: You'll architect, develop, and deploy highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS, but also within hybrid-cloud environments.

• Leading infrastructure automation: You'll drive the adoption and implementation of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles, leveraging tools to automate provisioning, configuration, and management of cloud resources.

• Developing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines: You'll establish and enhance continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines to streamline software deployment and infrastructure updates.

• Providing technical leadership: You'll guide and mentor cross-functional teams, ensuring best practices in cloud architecture, security, and operations are followed.

• Collaborating with stakeholders: You'll work closely with customers, engineers, and project managers to understand requirements, define technical strategies, and deliver solutions that meet mission-critical needs.

• Ensuring security and compliance: You'll design and implement solutions that adhere to stringent security standards and regulatory compliance requirements, particularly in government environments.

• Troubleshooting and problem-solving: You'll diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud infrastructure, ensuring high performance and reliability.

• Driving innovation: You'll stay current with emerging cloud technologies and trends, evaluating and recommending new solutions to enhance our capabilities.
