About The Role

Peraton is seeking to hire for an experienced Configuration Management Analytics role. 

 

Location: Kansas City, Missouri

 

Peraton is hiring a Configuration Management Analytics professional to support the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) in managing enterprise hosting capabilities across cloud and on-premise environments. This role plays a key part in enabling global operations through effective configuration management and analytics.

 

As part of the team, you will:

  • Plan and manage the operation and integration of Configuration Management systems
  • Execute configuration management transactions to support hybrid cloud operations
  • Support project planning and execution using SAFe/agile methodologies
  • Implement ITIL processes to drive configuration management activities
  • Provide technical guidance to automate data collection, processing, and reconciliation for configuration management

This role is ideal for someone with a passion for systems integration, cloud operations, and process automation—especially in support of mission-critical defense infrastructure.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements: 

  • Bachelors degree and minimum of 12 years experience, or a  minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; or 7 years with Ph.D.. High School and minimum of 16 years of experience or an Associates degree and minimum of 14 years will be considered in lieu of the degree. 
  • IAT II Certification.
  • Experience managing a CMDB system and data for datacenter/cloud infrastructure environments.
  • Experience automating configuration item data collection, verification, reconciliation.
  • Experience supporting agile project management efforts.
  • Experience operating in an ITIL framework, ITIL training or certification required.
  • Experience with Power BI and Power Platforms.
  • U.S. citizenship required. 
  • An active Secret security clearance (Tier 3 clearance).

 

Desired: 

  • Cloud certification (Azure or AWS).
  • ITIL certification in CMDB.
  • Scripting (power shell).
  • Rest API.
  • Experience with BMC Remedy/BMC Discovery.
  • Experience with BMC Helix CMDB.
SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range

Details

Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
