Program Overview
About The Role

Peraton is currently seeking a Contracts Administrator, Senior Advisor in Tampa, Florida. This senior-level position will require an energetic and disciplined contracts management professional providing the following responsibilities:

  • Fosters trusting relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Administers, extends, negotiates, and supports contract closeout of standard and nonstandard contracts, task orders and subsequent amendments.
  • Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with Company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Supports risk reviews for solicitations, ensures terms and condition compliance, completes proposal compliance checks (color team participation), completes representations and certifications, assists with proposal and pricing strategy, supports the development of the contracts volume (to include any OCI Mitigation Plans), and serves as the negotiator for any resultant contract negotiation.
  • Adapts to the operating cadence of the program team and makes meaningful contributions in meetings and teleconferences.
  • Advises program team of contractual rights and obligations.
  • Identifies risks and advises program team of mitigating options.
  • Generates and maintains a contract compliance matrix, presenting weekly status updates to the program team.
  • Coordinates reviews of contractual changes with the program team.
  • Researches contractual documents, regulations, policies, specifications and databases to support problem resolution.
  • Compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information.
  • Ensures contract award aligns with original proposal and mitigates risks of any discrepancies.
  • Ensures the contract award and changes are in accordance with legal requirements, customer specifications, and government regulations.
  • Monitors program performance for conformance to the contract and maintain continual reviews to ensure that all requirements, terms and conditions are met.
  • Prepares and disseminates information throughout the organization regarding contract status, compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation, and termination.
  • Initiates documentation to authorize and direct work in accordance with contractual specifications.
  • Maintains contractual records and documentation such as receipt and control of all contract correspondence, customer contact information sheets, contractual changes, status reports and other documents for all projects.
  • Ensures the contracts management system, as well as electronic filing, is complete and accurate in accordance with policies and procedures to support general ad hoc reporting and tasking.
  • Supports nondisclosure agreement and teaming agreement negotiations between company and outside sources.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and a minimum of 12 years of related work experience or 10 years of experience with a Masters.
  • 16+ years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. 
  • Experience managing Government contracts under FAR, DFARS and other agency supplemental regulations.
  • Experience working with a variety of contract types.
  • Experience with the development and negotiation of bids.
  • Experience interfacing with all levels of the internal team and external customers.
  • Experience working in MS Office applications and conducting data entry.
  • Ability to obtain secret clearance.
  • Attention to detail and organization.
  • Highly adaptable to change.
  • Strong writing and time management skills.

  • Experience with large IDIQs and resulting Task Orders.
  • Experience supporting federal civilian sector customers.

  • Ability to multi-task and operate in a fast-moving environment.
  • Business acumen with ability to think critically and develop creative and practical solutions.
  • Working knowledge of contract lifecycle management tools such as Unison.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning tool such as Deltek Costpoint.
  • Experience mentoring junior contracts administrators.

 

 

SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range

Details

Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
