What You’ll Do

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you’ll play a key role in shaping and advancing complex technical solutions that support national defense initiatives. You will:

  • Collaborate with users to analyze requirements, develop system specifications, and define the concept of operations.

  • Lead the design and development of advanced systems, ensuring they meet operational needs.

  • Provide strategic guidance to users, offering innovative alternatives and feasibility assessments.

  • Drive the integration of new technologies and capabilities into existing operations.

  • Create and maintain essential system documentation, including architecture and design specifications.

  • Lead the development of system engineering management and integration/test plans.

  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor, engaging directly with government stakeholders to address challenges and deliver solutions.

  • Take full ownership of technical quality and system integrity for assigned projects.

  • Coordinate effectively with other engineers, program staff, and senior leadership.

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

  • An active TS/SCI security clearance with current polygraph is required
  • Twenty years experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science,
    Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Five years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Details

Target Salary Range: $190,000 - $304,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
