About The Role

Peraton seeks a Data Scientist / Project Manager to support ARCYBER G3 Data Management and Analytics Support team.  Location: Fort Eisenhower, GA.

In this role, you will be lead a team of engineers and data scientists/analyts that can acquire data and employ statistics, analytics, systems technology, and business intelligence to provide analysis support to Army and Joint operational efforts.

Tasks include:

  • Provide technical lead contributions:
    • Curate and develop a solid data foundation in coordination with the client - structured and unstructured data.
    • Process modeling data and perform robust analytics. 
    • Use online experimentation and other data science methodologies by leveraging Machine Learning (ML), natural language processing, and dynamic network analysis
  • Responsible for the successful technical, schedule, and cost performance of the Data Management and Analytics Support team in accordance with TO contract requirements and company policies.
  • Acquires follow-on business associated with areas of responsibility and supports new business development by leading major proposals personally, or through subordinate program/project managers.
  • Has supervisory and developmental responsibilities; supervises professional and technical personnel on team.
  • Maintains aggressive efforts to achieve objectives.
  • Responsible for all phases of the project budget coordinating with client for funding--monitors TDP funding providing forecasts of financial performance.
Qualifications

Required:

  • 12 years of experience, may have supervisory or management experience.   

  • Capable of building Python scripts and packages that will be used by the data analysts.  The Python scripts will use supervised and unsupervised ML (both text and image-based machine learning), natural language processing (named entity extraction, summarization, etc.), and network analysis (social network analysis, centrality analysis, dynamic network analysis).
  • Must have expertise in maintaining and deploying a notebook-based data science environment (JupyterHub).
  • Must have experience in advanced Python data science packages (pandas, networkx, scikit-learn, pyTorch or TensorFlow/Keras, matplotlib or plotly, etc.).
  • Requires strong technical and computational skills - engineering, physics, mathematics, coupled with the ability to code design, develop, and deploy sophisticated applications using advanced unstructured and semi-structured data analysis techniques and utilizing high-performance computing environments.
  • Has the ability to utilize advance tools and computational skills to interpret, connect, predict and make discoveries in complex data and deliver recommendations for business and analytic decisions.

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph or the abiltiy to obtain Polygraph and maintain MEAD SIP clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.

Preferred:

  • Prefer IAM Level I certification.
  • PMP certification.
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Details

Target Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
