About The Role
Peraton is looking for a TS/SCI cleared Director, SATCOM Systems Engineering that will oversee support of Global ISR operations with several Ground Entry Points and its integration into terrestrial systems in Tampa, FL.
What you'll do:
- Manage a 24/7 NOC with multiple Tiers and Engineers including but not limited to Satellite, Systems, Network and Cybersecurity
- Support routing configuration and coordination with customer
- Oversee capabilities, automation and orchestration for Terminal Monitoring Portal
- Maintain all aspects of customer relationship at multiple levels of organization
- Coordinate support and services from third party vendors
- Direct operations for satellite support of multiple simultaneous tasks including but not limited to terminal commissioning and respective terrestrial interconnects integration as well as Authorized Service Interruptions (ASIs) such as migrations and testing
Qualifications
What you'll need:
- 16 years of experience, may have management experience
- Clearance: active TS/SCI Clearance
- 10 years of experience operating and troubleshooting end to end SATCOM networks and terminals. Direct experience with ISR systems, VIASAT, L3Harris, iDirect and/or WGS is preferred.
- 5 years of experience managing technical teams across multiple domains
- Previous experience working within USSOCOM and/or DoD environments
- Experience developing and understanding SATCOM link budget analyses
- Experience troubleshooting Cisco based network equipment, Linux based operating systems, and virtualization architecture.
- Broad understanding of Radio Frequency (RF) in multiple bands and orbits.
- Knowledge of satellite controller operations infrastructure, terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with Change Control Management (CCM) and Change Control Request (CCR) processes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, related field or 15+ years of directly related experience

Details
Target Salary Range: $146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
