Program Overview
Engineering modernization and integration practices to include Digital Engineering and Agile at Scale for all of NGA, NSG, and ASG.
About The Role

Position Overview:

We are seeking expert-level Integration Engineers with deep expertise in the deployment and integration of spectral exploitation tools. These tools form the core of an advanced processing environment used by Image Scientists to analyze both literal and non-literal data. The selected candidate(s) will be responsible for engineering, deploying, and integrating this spectral exploitation environment within the broader National System for Geospatial Intelligence (NSG) Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TCPED) enterprise.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with systems engineers, developers, and Image Scientists to ensure seamless system interoperability and deliver comprehensive, mission-driven solutions. You will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and operational efficiency of this complex system-of-systems environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert technical guidance to the Government on strategy, planning, capability development, and integration for spectral exploitation environments.
  • Translate mission needs and customer requirements into actionable system and capability specifications.
  • Support systems integration efforts across multiple components, ensuring effective interaction and functionality across platforms.
  • Analyze user needs and workflows to identify opportunities for automation and improvements in scheduling and processing.
  • Contribute to strategic technical planning, performance engineering, project management, interface design, and risk management.
  • Lead the development and integration of a comprehensive Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED) environment tailored for spectral data analysis by Image Scientists.
Qualifications

Peraton offers enhanced benefits to employees working on this critical National Security program, which include heavily subsidized employee benefits coverage for you and your dependents, 25 days of PTO accrued annually up to a generous PTO cap and eligible to participate in an attractive bonus plan.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or related equivalent additional experience of 4 years with no degree or 2 years with a non-STEM degree.
  • 18+ years of experience working in government or industry in relevant work areas including DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process or systems engineering of large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture environments residing in cloud, on premises, or hybrid infrastructures.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience integrating sensor systems into large-scale System-of-Systems or Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA), deployed across cloud, on-premise, or hybrid environments.
  • At least 5 years of direct experience supporting National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) programs or projects.
  • Proven experience integrating spectral data into advanced spectral exploitation tools and workflows.
  • Hands-on experience implementing solutions using cloud technologies, including architecture, deployment, and operations.
  • Strong understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle, from requirements through deployment and sustainment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the National System for Geospatial Intelligence (NSG), Allied System for Geospatial Intelligence (ASG), and National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) mission environments.
  • Prior experience supporting programs within the Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of Defense (DoD), including work with hyperspectral imaging (HSI) systems.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance or the ability to obtain SCI access and successfully pass a polygraph.
