Program Overview
Encompasses technical, engineering, data analytics, cyber security, management, operational, logistical, and administrative support for Bureau of Diplomatic Security, Cyber and Technology Security Directorate in three key offices/functional areas: Cyber Monitoring and Operations, Cyber Threat and Investigations, and Technology Innovation and Engineering State.
About The Role
Peraton is currently seeking an experienced Indicators and Warnings Team Leader to become part of our Federal Strategic Cyber Group.
The Indicators and Warnings Team Leader role will be located in Arlington, VA; on-site, full-time.
In this role, you will:
- Perform consolidated and comprehensive information and intelligence analysis of cyber threat data obtained from classified, proprietary, and open-source resources to provide stakeholders with timely, actionable, and relevant intelligence to assist in mitigating cyber threats.
- Analyze and report on unique attack vectors, emerging cyber threats, and current trends used by malicious actors.
- Perform cyber and technical threat analyses of foreign countries, hacker groups, terrorist organizations and other entities with capabilities.
- Assess the cyber threat environment for U.S. missions worldwide.
- Provide briefings and written products pertaining to cyber threats (such as cybersecurity bulletins, cyber threat assessments, and finished intelligence reports) to a variety of technical and non-technical audiences.
- Role may require up to 25% travel to foreign and domestic locations.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements are:
- A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 9 years’ of relevant experience. An additional 4 years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree/education.
- Possess and maintain, or be willing and able to obtain, prior to start date ONE of the following certifications:
- CASP+ CE, CCNA Cyber Ops, CCNA-Security, CCNP Security, CEH, CFR, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), Cloud+, CySA+ , GCED, GCIA, GCIH, GICSP, SCYBER, VCA DCV, PPDA, Agile IC, SNOW App Dev
- Experience in cyber threat analysis, intelligence analysis and reporting.
- Aptitude for providing analysis and research for industry, infrastructure, technology, country, geographic area, biographic and targeted vulnerability.
- Working knowledge in preparing assessments of current geopolitical events, adversary tactics, and trends based on the sophisticated collection, research, and analysis of classified and open-source information.
- Ability to collaborate with other teams to provide joint cyber threat assessments
- Coordinate with stakeholders to address vulnerabilities to systems
- Provide predictive analysis of threats and recommend actions by stakeholders
- Plan and organize the timely completion of written products to the customer
- Demonstrated proficiency in collecting data via a combination of standard intelligence methods and business processes.
- Strong technical writing skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills; communicate through written products, briefs, and informal communications to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and the willingness and ability to adapt to dynamic and unexpected customer and/or business requirements.
- Experience managing a team, assigning and managing tasks, and providing guidance on deliverables.
- Experience organizing daily tasks and schedules to maximize efficiency and provide timely deliverables.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- An active U.S. Passport.
- Ability to travel up to two weeks at a time, both foreign and domestically.
- Active Top Secret security clearance is required.
Desired Qualifications:
- One or more geographic areas of expertise, e.g. East Asia and Pacific, South and Central Asia, Near Eastern, European and Eurasian, South American, or African areas.
- Knowledge of Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) attacks and mitigation.
- Experience in the use of Analyst 1 platform.

Details
Target Salary Range: $112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
