Program Overview
Provide the US Senate with acquisition and IT support services for workstation and server hardware, operating system software and application system software, while also providing help desk service support services and on-site maintenance and support for the U.S. Senate in Washington, D.C. and 400 state offices for Senate members, committees, leadership and officers
About The Role
Peraton is looking for a Maintenance Technician to work in Washington DC.
Job Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain hardware from multiple vendors (e.g., HP, Dell, Microsoft, Apple), including system boards, RAM, hard drives, keyboards, and other peripherals.
- Communicate with vendors to coordinate part replacements, warranty repairs, and other service-related needs.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through clear, effective communication and white glove professional support.
- Maintain detailed documentation of issue resolution processes and resolve end-user support tickets related to desktops, laptops, and related equipment in a timely manner using ServiceNow.
- Install, configure, and support various software in Windows 11 and macOS environments including Microsoft Office, Duo, Adobe, and AnyConnect VPN.
- Assist in developing and maintaining departmental procedures and documentation related to hardware troubleshooting and IT support.
- Manage multiple support requests efficiently, prioritizing tasks and escalating when necessary.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of organizational IT policies and procedures.
Qualifications
High School level plus some advanced training; Minimum of 3 years

Details
Target Salary Range: $51,000 - $82,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
