Program Overview
This program is a military order of battle and incidence and violence tracking database, where the analysts use all-source analysis to build the database for the customer.
About The Role

Peraton is seeking an experienced Intelligence OOB Analyst with a passion for military organizations and expertise in multi-intelligence disciplines to provide high-level analytic support and deliver executive-level defense reports relevant to national and global security. The successful candidate will work alongside government and contractor personnel, applying advanced analytical methods across signals, imagery, and multi-source intelligence to inform senior decision-makers.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct analysis of all-source data across multiple intelligence domains to produce accurate and timely reports.
  • Perform final reviews of intelligence products and ensure prompt delivery to customers at all levels.
  • Apply fundamental imagery interpretation skills, including plotting, map reading, stereo image orientation, equipment/object identification, and marine vessel recognition.
  • Leverage knowledge of sensing systems, such as radar and spectral imagery sources, to inform assessments.
  • Conduct detailed Order of Battle (OOB) analysis of foreign military forces, structures, and capabilities.
  • Support threat analysis, foreign intelligence, counterintelligence, vulnerability assessments, military operations, investigations, and force protection activities as needed.
  • Conduct open-source research on violent incidents and regional events, identifying insurgency and violence patterns.
  • Maintain and update incident tracking databases; present findings through maps, graphs, and charts.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in military history, political science, international relations, security studies, or related discipline.
    • Note: An additional five (5) years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA, 6 years with MS/MA, or 3 years with PhD.
    • Proven research skills analyzing violent incidents and regional events.
    • Country-specific expertise in the relevant area of focus.
    • Demonstrated ability to follow analytic methodologies to identify insurgency and violence patterns.
    • Hands-on experience conducting open-source analysis for violent incidents and major events.
    • Direct experience with Order of Battle (OOB) analysis is required.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in presenting data through maps, charts, and graphs.
    • Ability to manipulate and update datasets and databases.
    • Experience with web-based database systems.
    • Familiarity with maintaining incident tracking systems.
    • Knowledge of insurgent and terrorist organizational structures and operational concepts.

Desired Qualifications

  • Language proficiency in the relevant region or area of focus.
  • Experience in Electronic Warfare (EW) analysis.
  • Experience in Space and Counterspace operations and analysis.
SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range

Details

Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
