Program Overview
About The Role

The ISR Operations SME will serve as a senior technical leader across all facets of contract execution in support of Air Combat Command’s ISR Enterprise. This role requires a candidate who can provide thought leadership and drive direction across ISR analysis, training, targeting, and enterprise modernization. The SME will act as an integrator of mission needs and technical capability—supporting both government leadership and internal program execution with operationally grounded, analytically sound, and technically informed guidance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical execution across multiple lines of effort within the ISR-E PWS, including analysis and assessments, training delivery, and intelligence support
  • Shape and guide ISR tradecraft, TTP development, and enterprise best practices to ensure high-quality mission output across the contract
  • Serve as a primary technical advisor to government leadership on ISR analysis, fusion, and targeting methodology
  • Develop and deliver advanced ISR-related training programs (e.g., GEOINT, SIGINT, targeting, cyber threat) to Air Force and Joint users
  • Lead the creation of ISR training scenarios and certification frameworks in support of readiness and operational realism
  • Provide senior-level assessments and analytic products to support enterprise decision-making
  • Mentor and guide junior analysts and team leads, fostering a culture of innovation, tradecraft discipline, and mission ownership
  • Interface with senior ACC, Joint, and IC stakeholders to shape ISR capability development and integration
  • Ensure currency and relevancy in the use of ISR analytical tools, platforms, and data-driven techniques in support of ISR operations
Qualifications

Requirements:

Clearance Requirement: Active TS with SCI eligibility
Experience:
Minimum of 12 years supporting DoD ISR operations, analysis, training, or planning efforts also with partial management duties

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional or geographically distributed ISR teams
  • Recognized subject matter expertise across multiple INTs (GEOINT, SIGINT, OSINT, MASINT, etc.)
  • Graduate of a premier intelligence training program (e.g., USAF Weapons School) preferred
  • Familiarity with AF DCGS, AOC operations, ISR PED processes, and IC collaborative tools
  • Demonstrated success in developing training pipelines, analytic standards, and scenario-based instruction
  • Background in multi-domain operations, targeting, or special operations ISR is highly desirable

Details

Target Salary Range: $146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
