About The Role
Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and detect cyber events and security incidents within enterprise information systems and networks under general supervision.
- Assist in the integration of dynamic cyber defense strategies, supporting continuous monitoring and ongoing authorization (CMA) programs through security toolset configuration and coordination.
- Establish frameworks to assess, quantify, and communicate cyber risk within the organization and broader marketplace.
- Evaluate security requirements by analyzing business objectives and strategies, researching relevant security standards, and performing risk and vulnerability assessments.
- Conduct system security architecture reviews and integration analyses to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Support cost estimation and planning efforts related to cybersecurity implementations and improvements.
- Specify and implement security solutions, including intrusion detection systems, endpoint protections, and encryption mechanisms.
- Direct installation, calibration, and operational readiness of security software and hardware.
- Develop and apply preventive and corrective security measures, including key management procedures and incident response capabilities.
- Verify security implementations by creating, executing, and maintaining test scripts and validation protocols.
- Ensure compliance with DoD, NIST, and organizational security policies, procedures, and standards through continuous auditing and review.
- Conduct incident response activities and forensic analyses, providing timely and actionable reporting on cyber events.
- Develop and deliver user training and awareness programs to reinforce cybersecurity best practices and compliance.
- Design, develop, and integrate Information Assurance (IA) architectures and components within DoD computing, networking, and enclave environments.
- Ensure security and functionality of both development and operational systems, including Programs of Record and specialized platform IT systems.
- Collaborate with engineering and program teams to ensure cybersecurity considerations are embedded throughout system lifecycles.
Qualifications
- 0 years with BS/BA; 4 years no degree
- Experience in user desktop support and Windows platform administration
- Requires basic skills in an analytical or scientific method or operational process
- Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines
- Works with close supervision
- Requires basic technical skills in analytical/scientific methods or operational processes to perform routine and straightforward activities
- Understands how the assigned duties relate to others in the team and how the team integrates with others
- Works on limited variety of straightforward jobs
- Active TS/SCI clearance w/poly

Details
Target Salary Range: $80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
