Responsibilities

Do you want to be part of a team that supports United States European Command (USEUCOM)? Peraton is looking for someone who leads and acts as a full participant Knowledge Management Technical Lead who plans, leads, and executes the development of USEUCOM KM Architecture to include systems, processes, and technical capabilities (e.g., SharePoint sites, databases, and internal websites) that govern, support, enhance, and enable knowledge management (KM) and knowledge repositories for storing, sharing, and utilizing data across USEUCOM. You will Manage existing KM practices and structures; designs, recommends, implements, and enhances standardized KM practices, ontologies, taxonomies, meta-data tagging schemas, and management controls in support of USEUCOM systems – including storage, retrieval, and retention processes. Develops, leads and continually improves processes and procedures through KM Working Groups (KMWGs) addressing acquisition of information from multiple sources, custodianship and distribution of that information, and disposition of information through expiration, archival, and/or deletion. Develops and deploys processes, procedures, and systems that implement life-cycle management accounting and administration of digital content such as text documents, images, video, audio, and multimedia from creation to disposition. Integrates information with other databases as required on SharePoint or other Government-approved domains through use of KM SOPs and playbooks. Enhances information sharing of analysis, assessments, legislative materials, policies, strategies, budget materials, IT information, and other relevant documents. Utilizes automated tools and visualizations to facilitate users’ access and ability to analyze information holdings. Enables interoperability and sharing of information with other IC or state and local partners. Assists in development, coordination, approval, and publishing of USEUCOM publications and forms to ensure accessibility to USEUCOM users and stakeholders. Develops and facilitates Knowledge Management training for Directorates, Offices, and Centers as well as IC partners, to facilitate user optimization of existing systems/capabilities and encourage a culture of innovation around KM. Documents, maintains, and executes applicable standard operating procedures (SOPs) as required – conducts periodic reviews of SOPs and associated activities to provide continual improvement of USEUCOM and IC Knowledge Management.

Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI
  • Experience working with a military Geographic Combatant Command Headquarters or forward deployed operational elements
  • Experience designing, building, and optimizing systems for data collection, storage, access, and analytics at scale
  • Experience evaluating business needs and objectives and turning those into requirement.
  • Hands-on experience with database design
  • Numerical and analytical skills

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
