Program Overview
Supports the Navy Research Laboratory with projects in oceanography, acoustics, geospatial modeling, and mine warfare, providing applied research and software development. Team members, who possess both scientific expertise and software coding skills, work closely with the customer to deliver exceptional operational products.
About The Role

Peraton is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to support the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) Space Electronics System ProtoFlight Development (SESPD 2) Contract provides Engineering and Technical Support Services for the development of Spaceflight component hardware, subsystems and system for Naval Center for Space Technology (NCST) Programs.

 

The on-call as needed Engineer will support  material handling and control duties in the provisioning of Electronic Engineering parts for Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) builds.

 

Responsibilities of the Position:

  • Parts Kitting of Circuit Card Assembly per Product Parts Lists
  • Maintaining inventory control for allocated parts
  • Receiving, stocking, and performing process control for procured material
  • Evaluates engineering changes and determines equipment standards to meet specification requirements.

 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree with a minimum of 12 years experience
  • Experience with electronic engineering parts

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience with Cost-point system
  • Experience with Naval Research Lab parts and processes

 

SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range

Details

Target Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
