We are looking for a Mid-Level System Administrator to manage and maintain operating system workstations and servers, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity. This role involves system installation, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and security management, contributing to the stability and efficiency of business processing requirements.
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems for workstations and servers, including web servers.
Perform software installations, upgrades, and updates in accordance with IT policies and procedures.
Schedule and execute system upgrades while maintaining compliance with security and operational guidelines.
Monitor system performance, identify potential bottlenecks, and optimize configurations for maximum efficiency.
Ensure workstation/server data integrity through the implementation of secure software and hardware solutions.
Manage data/media recoverability, ensuring a robust backup schedule and database archive operations.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures to guide system administration tasks.
Conduct routine hardware and software audits to verify compliance with company policies and system standards.
Maintain a comprehensive configuration database/library, documenting all supporting operating system hardware and software details.
Familiarity with data backup solutions, security protocols, and compliance auditing.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, ensuring system efficiency and security.
Experience in system administration, server management, and IT infrastructure support.
Experience with virtualization technologies and cloud-based infrastructures.
