Program Overview
About The Role

Peraton has an exciting and important opportunity for an experienced Network Engineer to support a critical agency within the Federal Government, working within the Office of Information Technology (OCIO). The right candidate has solid experience managing IT Enterprise Operations. You are a strong collaborator who is committed to ensuring the safety and security of our nation. You will be Key Personnel leading support for a suite of government developed information systems designed to tackle the agency’s mission. 

This position will be located in the Washington, DC/MD/VA area.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the smooth functioning of all enterprise-level IT operations including virtualized infrastructure, Network Operations Center, Security Operations Center, and direct experience overseeing the execution of complex technical projects in IT infrastructure migration and cloud.
  • Designing, implementing, and managing operational processes and procedures to ensure critical IT components.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and security protocols, implementing best practices for cybersecurity and disaster recovery.
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders, align operational activities with the agency’s strategic objectives.
  • Contribute insights to drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization ensuring reliable and secure delivery of services vital to supporting the agencies mission-critical operations and emergency response efforts.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience with BS/BA
  • Experience managing IT Enterprise Operations.
  • 8 years of applied experience as a Network Engineer.
  • Active Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Architect Professional (CCNA)
  • Active Professional Cloud Solutions Architect Certifications
  • Active Certifications in Multi-Cloud environments (AWS, GCP, OCI, Azure)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance prior to starting contract related work.
  • Experience interfacing and being responsive to customers, preferably in a federal government environment.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical staff.
  • U.S. Citizenship required

SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range

Details

Target Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
