About The Role

Peraton is seeking a Onboarding Account Management Analyst

 

An Onboarding Account Management for ICAM Zero Trust is a strategic role focused on securely integrating applications and users into an organization's Zero Trust architecture. This position manages the entire identity lifecycle, from initial provisioning to ongoing access control, ensuring all resources and access requests are continuously verified, regardless of location. 

Position summary

  • The Onboarding Account Management Analyst is responsible for managing the secure and compliant onboarding of applications and users into the organization's Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) system.
  • This role enforces Zero Trust principles by verifying every access request and implementing least-privilege access, ensuring a seamless yet secure experience for application owners and end-users.
  • Acts as a primary point of contact and subject matter expert for all onboarding-related activities and governance. 

 

Key responsibilities

  • Intake and triage: Coordinate the intake of new applications and services, perform triage based on complexity, and manage the onboarding pipeline.
  • Zero Trust implementation: Collaborate with system owners, engineers, etc., to ensure new applications comply with Zero Trust policies, such as continuous authentication, least-privilege access, and micro-segmentation.
  • Policy enforcement: Enforce authentication and provisioning standards for all applications, including multi-factor authentication (MFA) and single sign-on (SSO), ensuring alignment with enterprise security architecture.
  • Lifecycle management: Oversee the identity lifecycle, including automated provisioning, deprovisioning, and regular access reviews to maintain compliance.
  • Documentation and governance: Develop and maintain documentation, including onboarding guides, runbooks, and readiness checklists. Support audit and compliance initiatives by providing evidence of secure access governance.
  • Stakeholder collaboration: Serve as the primary liaison between various groups, application owners, IT, and security teams. Translate complex technical requirements into clear, non-technical language to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Continuous improvement: Identify and drive opportunities for process automation and improvements within the ICAM onboarding lifecycle.
  • Troubleshooting: Address and resolve identity and access-related issues, providing expert support to application owners and end-users. 

 

Qualifications
  • 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD, 9 years w/HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Able to obtain Public Trust clearance
  • Must be US Citizen
  • Experience in Information Security/Information Management, with at least 2 years in an Identity and Access Management (IAM) function (preferred).
  • Security +  cert required.
  • Strong understanding of ICAM concepts, Zero Trust architecture, and cybersecurity principles
  • Understanding of IAM tools such as Okta, SailPoint, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance regulations (e.g., NIST, DoD, SOX).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  •  Familiarization with identity federation, SSO, MFA, and access control models like Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC).
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex access issues and security vulnerabilities

  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, from engineers to executives.

  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with IT, security, and business units to achieve security and business objectives. Meticulous attention to detail and ability to follow and improve defined processes and workflows.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security Plus highly desirable.

Details

Target Salary Range: $51,000 - $82,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
