Program Overview
Supports the U. S. Air Force by providing processes and tools to enable the enterprise division and its customers to acquire, develop, manage, transform, inspect, store, distribute, and maintain technical data. Recognized as the authority in technical data management, the program sustains two Air Force Enterprise systems.
About The Role
Peraton is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Planning Analyst to join our team at Robins AFB.
Location: Robins AFB, Georgia. Flexible for occasional telework – must be local to work location.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and execute material procurement plans based on project schedules, bills of materials (BOMs), to ensure software licenses and hardware maintenance contracts are renewed with no lapse in coverage.
- Interface with the customer and program team (software developers, operations, security, deployment, quality assurance, help desk, software compliance) to define material purchasing requirements.
- Proactively review software licensing needs to minimize material costs.
- Work closely with the Procurement team.
- Submit required documentation and forms for vendor Request for Quotes and Purchase Order execution, work with technical staff to develop Statement of Work for procurements as necessary.
- Coordinate with the customer to obtain approval for material purchases, answer questions, and provide additional information as needed.
- Prepare detailed status reports on material planning and procurement activities, milestones, and deliverables and provide regular status updates to program management and the customer.
- Assess material risks and issues; develop mitigations to ensure productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives are met.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any quality or delivery issues.
- Track and report on material costs and variances.
- Collaborate with project managers to communicate material availability and potential delays.
- Maintain accurate records of material transactions.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support proposal efforts related to material procurement and travel requirements.
- Stay informed about market trends and changes in material pricing.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Support program management and the finance team in providing backup documentation for customer invoicing.
- Must be self-motivated and results oriented and have excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree and minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; MS/MA and 3 years. An additional 4 years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Demonstrated experience in program planning on a large-scale effort.
- Demonstrated experience in risk management.
- In-depth understanding of Project Management practices.
- Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to cultivate close working relationships with customers, project team members, leadership, and other stakeholders.
- Proficiency with software tools required for generating and managing material purchasing plans, reporting, and documentation (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint).
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Must be local to Robins Air Force Base, Georgia.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Deltek Costpoint, Cognos, and Onbase.
- Current, Active Secret security clearance.
- Recent Department of the Air Force Common Access Card (CAC).

Details
Target Salary Range: $80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
