Program Overview
About The Role

Peraton is looking for a Senior Compliance Systems Engineer to support the government customer’s Office of Compliance for Cyber and Operations. The Office of Compliance is responsible for implementing a compliance program that enables the customer’s operational mission to leverage the government customer’s mission authorities while operating in a manner compliant with laws, policies, and other guidance program. The Office of Compliance Controls is the executive agent for the Compliance Group’s requirements process. As such, Compliance Controls is responsible for coordinating the submission, review, and approval of compliance capability and service needs. The office coordinates and tracks requirements approved by the Compliance Group. The contractor shall apply knowledge of the customer's technology architecture and system engineering best practices to provide services that define, validate, and prioritize high-level capability needs through agency approval processes and requirements for specific compliance services. The contractor team will support the Compliance office by reviewing all Board of Director-approved Comprehensive Review Recommendations for trends across the different mission authorities, and update and maintain a Comprehensive Review Status Report. This shall include timelines for recommendations and activities, assumptions, risks, dependencies, and updated status of all Comprehensive Review recommendations.

 

The selected individual will coordinate with stakeholders and will use the appropriate Requirements Management system (e.g., Confluence and JIRA) to:

  • Update status tracking of each recommendation in the specified tracking system (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) based on information provided by Compliance Controls.
  • Create, update, execute, automate, and maintain Compliance requirements management processes and workflows (e.g., JIRA/Confluence);
  • Decompose high-level requirements into functional requirements.
  • Train and assist requirements submitters and reviewers as required by the Government. Provide Requirements Management system (e.g., JIRA/Confluence) training, guidance, and documentation on a quarterly basis.
  • Maintain monthly status metrics on requirements in the Requirements Management system to ensure the requirements are properly vetted and prioritized in alignment with leadership priorities; and
  • Coordinate and provide services (e.g., pre-coordination of sending requirements to be reviewed and scored) for requirement scoring.
Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance required. 
  • The amount of experience required is based on the candidate’s qualifying degree. A qualifying degree must be in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university:
    • Fourteen (14) years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree, OR
    • Nineteen (19) years of relevant experience without a qualifying degree.
  • Relevant experience must be in performing systems engineering duties in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity.
    • Three (3) years of qualifying experience should be in the legal or technical aspects of Intelligence Community Privacy Compliance
    • Two (2) years of qualifying experience should include work with the customer's systems architecture.

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Details

Target Salary Range: $176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
