About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Systems Analyst / Engineer to provide expert guidance, technical leadership, and hands-on support across complex engineering and IT projects. In this role, you’ll bring specialized knowledge in systems engineering, cybersecurity, software analysis, and quality assurance to help design, build, and protect critical mission systems.

You’ll act as a key advisor and problem-solver, helping clients and technical teams align business needs with secure, scalable technology solutions — ensuring quality is embedded throughout development, implementation, and maintenance.

What You’ll Do

Technical Analysis & System Design

  • Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine technical approach and design feasibility within time and cost constraints

  • Evaluate and recommend computer system specifications, layouts, and peripheral equipment modifications

  • Review existing programs to optimize performance and reduce operating time

  • Collaborate with systems analysts, engineers, and programmers to define limitations, capabilities, and performance requirements

  • Evaluate security and reporting needs, cost factors, and hardware configurations to support system planning

  • Estimate software development costs and timelines

  • Consult with customers and engineering staff to design software systems and interfaces between hardware and software

  • Resolve system or performance issues in coordination with data processing and project managers

  • Prepare detailed project documentation, reports, and correspondence

Cybersecurity & Risk Management

  • Implement and upgrade cybersecurity solutions, including software, hardware, and network security in both virtual and physical environments

  • Maintain, repair, and enhance existing security systems as needed

  • Perform system scans and simulations to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation

  • Document findings from security tests, breaches, or incidents and report recommendations to management

  • Develop, implement, and maintain security policies and best practices to prevent future threats and ensure compliance

Who You Are

You’re a trusted expert with a strong background in systems engineering, cybersecurity, and IT analysis, able to bridge the gap between technical teams and mission outcomes. You bring a detail-oriented mindset and a passion for solving complex challenges with high-quality, secure, and efficient solutions.
