About The Role

Peraton seeks a SIEM Engineer

 

Job Responsibilities:

Designs hardware, operating systems, and software applications to adequately address cybersecurity requirements. Develops and directs system testing and validation procedures and documentation. Develops dashboarding capabilities, utilizing the enterprise SIEM and Enterprise Governance Risk and Compliance (eGRC) solution, for the ISSO’s to perform real time monitoring of Agency information systems. Develops detailed security design documentation for component and interface specifications to support system design and development. Conducts Assessments and support the development of Agency’s technical security tools (Tenable Nessus, WebInspect, Splunk, and BigFix) and other tools requested for vulnerabilities and compliance. Implements security designs for new or existing system(s). Incorporates cybersecurity vulnerability solutions into system designs (e.g., Cybersecurity Vulnerability Alerts). Creates and tracks metrics using the dashboard in the SIEM/eGRC solution. Designs, implements, tests, and evaluates secure interfaces between information systems, physical systems, and/or embedded technologies. Designs, develops, integrates, and updates system security measures that provide confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, and non-repudiation. Performs security reviews and identify security gaps in architecture. Traces system requirements to design components and perform gap analysis. Verifies stability, interoperability, portability, and/or scalability of system architecture.  

Qualifications

Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD or 12 years with a HS Diploma

Must have a TS/SCI clearance

Preferred Certifications:

Security+ or CISSP

SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range

Details

Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
