Program Overview
Peraton provides USSOCOM, its Component Commands, Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), deployed forces, CIO/J6, and end-users with high-quality IT platform and network services over an eight-year period.
About The Role

Peraton requires an AV/VTC Engineer to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3. 

 

This position is located at Camp Humphreys, South Korea. 

 

The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.

 

As a key member of the team, the candidate will help maintain and advance the AV/VTC infrastructure which includes delivering high-quality AV solutions for command centers, conference rooms, and field units.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in technical discussions to gather requirements and develop AV/VTC roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with system architects and engineers to design and implement AV/VTC solutions.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of AV and VTC technologies, trends, and best practices.
  • Deliver reliable and integrated AV/VTC solutions on schedule and within performance and quality standards.
  • Provide expert guidance to ensure government objectives related to cost, schedule, and performance are met.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve AV/VTC system issues, including root cause analysis and operational support.
  • Oversee the design, installation, and integration of commercial AV/VTC systems in both classified and unclassified environments.
  • Develop and maintain documentation such as engineering diagrams, configuration records, and standard operating procedures.
  • Lead or assist in the integration of AV/VTC systems across enterprise-level networks.
  • Manage AV/VTC projects, including coordination of contractor technicians and third-party installers.
  • Define standard installation and configuration practices for conference room AV and VTC systems.
  • Manage and support various AV/VTC components including video walls, VTC codecs, microphones, audio processors, mixers, HDMI matrices, etc.
  • Provide AV/VTC support for high-profile command events, ceremonies, and briefings.
  • Track AV assets, software licenses, and maintenance cycles from procurement through decommission.
  • Work directly with government personnel to ensure seamless delivery and lifecycle management of AV/VTC assets.
  • Review and validate test plans, procedures, and acceptance criteria to meet contractual and operational requirements.
  • Travel to remote locations as needed to support and maintain deployed AV/VTC systems.
  • Be available for shift work or non-standard schedules to support the mission.
Qualifications

Required qualifications:

  • BS + 8 years of experience, OR MS + 6 years OR PHD with 3 years OR AA + 10 yrs of experience OR HS with 12 years
  • TS/SCI and above clearance.
  • DoDD 8570 IAT Level II
  • Proven ability to configure, test and troubleshoot various AV systems such as Crestron, AMX, Extron, etc.
  • Thorough understanding of video distribution using digital media driven technologies (NVX)

Details

Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
