Program Overview
Peraton provides USSOCOM, its Component Commands, Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), deployed forces, CIO/J6, and end-users with high-quality IT platform and network services over an eight-year period.
About The Role

Peraton requires Process Engineers to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3 EOM. 

This position is located at MacDill AFB in Florida.   

The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.  

The Process Engineer serves as a key contributor within the Service Modernization and Automation (SMA) team, supporting the Enterprise Operations Support (EOS) organization under USSOCOM’s SITEC 3 EOM Task Order.  

  • Analyze existing operational workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation 
  • Collaborate with SMA leadership, Service Modernization Managers, and matrixed stakeholders across CCs and TSOCs to document, standardize, and optimize service delivery processes 
  • Enable scalable modernization across J63 domains 
  • Develop and maintain process models, SOPs, and performance metrics to support modernization initiatives 
  • Integrate process improvements with ITSM governance, RMF compliance, and ServiceNow capabilities 
  • Support implementation of automation strategies that improve efficiency and reduce operational risk 
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement to ensure process alignment across J63 operational domains 
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts through data analysis, feedback loops, and performance tracking 
  • Ensure process designs support operational resilience, scalability, and long-term mission alignment 
  • Provide technical input to modernization efforts across cyber, cloud, network, and service delivery domains 
  • Maintain configuration integrity and documentation standards across evolving operational workflows 
Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 

  • Min 6 years with HS degree, 4 years with AS/AA degree, 2 years with BS/BA
  • DoD TS/SCI clearance  
  • Experience in process engineering, workflow optimization, or service delivery transformation 
  • Strong understanding of ITSM frameworks (e.g., ITIL), enterprise operations, and automation principles 
  • Experience working in matrixed environments with cross-functional teams 
  • Ability to translate complex operational requirements into actionable process designs 

 

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Experience with ServiceNow process modeling and automation 
  • Familiarity with RMF, ATO, and DoD cybersecurity frameworks 
  • Lean Six Sigma, ITIL v4, or BPM certification 
  • Experience supporting modernization efforts across cyber, network, or cloud domains 
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills 
  • Expertise in process mapping, gap analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies to drive enterprise-wide service optimization 
SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range

Details

Target Salary Range: $66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
