Program Overview
Peraton provides USSOCOM, its Component Commands, Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), deployed forces, CIO/J6, and end-users with high-quality IT platform and network services over an eight-year period.
About The Role

Peraton requires Systems Administrators to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3 EOM.  This position is located at MacDill AFB in Florida.  

 

The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365. 

• Performs tier one and two network and systems support in accordance with the SIE OPORD.  
• Provides support to infrastructure hosting monitoring capabilities, application monitoring, and system interfaces for computer systems. 
• Conducting administration on admin servers, maintaining documents, analyzes and troubleshoots systems anomalies to ensure optimum monitoring response times. 
• Monitors and reports on one or more mid-range Cisco Unified Call Manager (CUCM) servers.  
• Studies program operating instructions to determine optimal server uptime and reporting requirements.
• Monitors the operation of assigned applications and storage devices and determines the point of reporting boundaries.  
• Troubleshoots and configures systems in accordance with standard procedures to continue operations when individual units of a system malfunction.  
• Coordinates with core component teams or as necessary to correct errors. 
• Maintains operating records and track trends of servers the team monitors.
• Analyzes, troubleshoots and resolves system hardware, software, and networking issues. 
• Configures, optimizes, fine-tunes, and monitoring operating system software and hardware. 
• Conducts checks and balances for SIE assets, specifically server health.
• Completes troubleshooting issues related to infrastructure including VDI components. 
• Develops and maintains SOPs for the infrastructure including core service SOP’s.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
Min 4 years of experience with HS Diploma, BS 0 years of experience

• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD TS/SCI clearance.

• DoD 8570-M IAT II

• Experience with Active Directory

• Experience with monitoring with Solarwinds and/or Riverbed
• Experience with Remedy
• Experience with Unified Endpoint Management (UEM)
• Experience with Microsoft product suite
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Ability to troubleshoot and articulate issues with servers and devices and report to Senior civilian or government officials.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Works well under pressure in a high tempo environment.
• Strong proactive team player

Desired Qualifications:
• Experience with Microsoft Intune
• Experience with Service Now
• Scripting experience
• AI Experience
• Developing and implementing automation processes.
• Currently holds a VCTA, Azure Admin Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified Messaging Administrator Associate, AWS Sys Ops Admin Associate.

Details

Target Salary Range: $66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
