Provides IC data management support to modernize mega data repositories, dataflow management, data provenance and compliance validation, and streaming solutions.
About The Role

We're looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join a well-established, high-performing development team using Java as the primary language. This is an opportunity to work on a mature software system while contributing to the ongoing evolution of a critical technology platform.

 

Our team follows Agile development practices to manage tasks, track requirements, and deliver high-quality software in a collaborative environment. You’ll be working with modern tools and frameworks like Quarkus and PrimeFaces, making this an ideal role for experienced developers who want to deepen their expertise and stay current with industry trends.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design and implement advanced algorithms that meet strict timing, system resource, and interface constraints.

  • Perform quality assurance and code reviews to maintain high development standards.

  • Collaborate with system and hardware engineers to gather requirements and ensure software meets performance and integration specifications.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, including enhancements to documentation and software development processes.

  • Support deployment activities, coordinating installations and verifying that software functions as intended in its operational environment.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Strong experience with Java development in a professional setting.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in a team-based development process.

  • Interest or experience in modern Java frameworks like Quarkus, PrimeFaces, or similar technologies.

  • Ability to design software with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability.

  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Experience:

    • A minimum of fourteen (14) years of experience as a Software Engineer (SWE) on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

    • Substitution: Four (4) additional years of SWE experience may be substituted for the Bachelor's degree.

  • Clearance:

    • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.


Work Environment

  • The Task/Technical Task Order (TTO) is performed at the contractor’s facility.

  • Offers flexible work hours and telework opportunities.


Desired Qualifications

Experience with the following technologies is a plus:

  • Database Development (DBA)

  • Java

  • SQL and query creation

  • PostgreSQL

  • ElasticSearch (particularly aggregations)

Details

Target Salary Range: $146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
