Systems Administrator

Peraton is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to join our USCYBERCOM team. 

Location: On-site at Fort Meade, MD.

In this role, you will: 

• Organize and direct the configuration and operation of information management systems
• Provide the day-to-day system administration to include system and resource optimization, and user assistance 
• Conduct capacity and performance analysis, and provide system configuration change and upgrade recommendations 
• Increase system administrator efficiency and accuracy via the use of automated tools and scripts, develop system administrator procedures, and conduct system administrator training and skills assessment
• Determine computer user needs; analyze system capabilities and programming techniques and controls
• Perform system capacity analysis and planning, maintain servers, create monitoring reports and logs, and ensure functionality of system links
• Perform configuration management and documentation of network and system topologies
• Prepare technical implementation plans that provide integrated solutions, including actions, milestones, timelines, and critical paths required for complete solutions
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of the organization’s hardware, software, and network components in addition to knowledge of programming languages and operating systems, current equipment and technologies in use, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring tools
• Plan, organize, and document complex system design activities and configure systems to be consistent with the USCYBERCOM policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of system administrator experience
• Minimum of High School Diploma
• Minimum DOD 8140/DOD 8570 IA-T2 Certification
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communications skills.
• U.S. citizenship required
• An active Top Secret/SCI with Poly security clearance.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience and/or understanding of CNMF INFINITEVISION system and supporting software
• Experience and/or advanced understanding of CNMF mission space
