Systems Analysis - Senior

Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging, and installing to support the company's or client’s application systems. Develops computer systems specifications that address business requirements and that fit with the organization's system architecture standards. Establishes and documents system parameters and formats, ensures hardware and software systems compatibility and coordinates and/or modifies system parameters in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities. Revises existing systems and procedures to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage. Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations. Defines the goals of the system and devises flow charts and diagrams describing logical operational steps of programs. Serves as the information resource for client users; including determination of the most appropriate data source, providing, or arranging application-based report writing, or educating users to retrieve the information themselves. 

• Understands how users in the field use case management applications
• Works with the developers to define usability hypotheses and instrument applications for validation
• Advises developers on improvements to the application based on analytical findings

Experience Required:

• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Position requires TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain a polygraph 
• Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.

Experience Desired:

• Experience in Cloud (AWS/Azure) and cyber security principles, system security authorizations, and Risk Management Framework processes and capabilities.
• A broad experience in systems engineering disciplines, system integration, project management, architecture development, mission use case and thread analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to work constructively and successfully with diverse stakeholders to resolve mission and technical issues.
• Self-starter, with high attention to detail, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills, and be proficient with Microsoft Office tools, especially Microsoft Excel.
