Program Overview
About The Role

Peraton is seeking a Systems Architect. In this role the person will peform the following duties, but not limited to : 

 

The Systems Architect for DevSecOps is responsible for designing and implementing secure, scalable, and resilient systems while fostering continuous improvement and operational excellence.

  • Architecting and optimizing CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid and secure application delivery, embedding security controls and automation throughout the development lifecycle, and integrating DevSecOps principles across development, security, and operations teams.
  • The architect leverages tools, frameworks, and practices such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, and microservices to enhance automation and efficiency.
  • Responsibilities include selecting and implementing toolchains
  • Conducting vulnerability assessments
  • Ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policies
  • Identifying opportunities for ongoing enhancements to processes and system performance.
  • The role emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders to streamline workflows, reduce inefficiencies, and promote iterative development
  • Produces technical documentation, evaluates new technologies
  • Mentors teams to foster a culture of innovation
  • Security, and continuous delivery
Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Able to obtain Public Trust
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with vulnerability assessments
  • Experience with compliance with cybersecurity policies
SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range

Details

Target Salary Range: $112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
