Program Overview
Engineering modernization and integration practices to include Digital Engineering and Agile at Scale for all of NGA, NSG, and ASG.
About The Role

Peraton is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team in taking a multi-disciplinary approach to requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, services development, integration, test and evaluation, maintainability and analysis across CAP/SAP architectures, the NSG/ASG and Federal Agencies to ensure timely and accurate GEOINT.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guides the planning, analysis/traceability of user requirements, architectures traceability, procedures and problems to automate or improve existing systems, and review cloud service capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.
  • Guides Mid-level system engineers developing solutions designs based on analysis of requirements and new technology.
  • Assists the Government in the capture and translation of mission and customer requirements/needs into systems/capability requirements and solutions.
  • Supports the analyses and allocation of requirements to systems architecture components and executing programs.
  • Assists the Government in performing systems integration activities.
  • Conducts AoA, CoA, Trade Studies, and Engineering Assessments.
  • Explains technical issues clearly and accurately to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications

Required Skills:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering or a related technical/scientific field
  • 12+ years of experience in government or industry relevant work areas including: DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process or system engineering of large complex system of systems
  • 8+ years of experience with strategic plan development, decomposition, and management
  • 8+ years of experience with systems engineering lifecycle
  • 8+ years of experience supporting the assessment, evaluation, and deployment of new or emerging technologies into operations or the architecture impacts and a recommendation path forward
  • 3+ years of experience in project management or technical team leadership
  • TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a poly
SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range

Details

Target Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
