Responsibilities

Do you want to be part of a team that supports United States European Command (USEUCOM)? Peraton is looking for a Technical Writer who writes and edits user and technical manuals, help systems, and other technical documents. Plans, designs, and develops detailed technical and nontechnical forms, documentation, and references for technical and nontechnical programs and processes. Collaborates with program/technical staff and customer representatives to document the specifications, design, features, and operation of technical processes and solutions. Designs and formats documents using document-creation software. You will also interview developers and other technical resource personnel to ensure the accuracy of all information presented and assess the intended audience and adjusts writing as necessary. Collaborates with graphic designers to create diagrams, charts, or other visual aids as required. You will also support the development of SOPs and Knowledge Transfer during Transition-In and use our dedicated portal to aid in workflow management in support of document/deliverable creation, collaboration, acceptance, approval, and publication.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in English, journalism or information sciences is required. Significant relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.

10+ years developing technical documents in support of joint, multinational, and unified combatant command

Skills: MS Office Suite, MS Project

Target Salary Range

$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range
