About The Role
Peraton is seeking a Business Systems Analyst Lead to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.
The ideal candidate will gather, manage, and prioritize the collection, documentation, analysis, reporting, communication, and strategy of all system requirements, integrations and customer relationship management (CRM) development work. The Business Analyst Lead will play a critical role in ensuring smooth and effective technical solutions to include maintenance of current systems, enhancements, and major modernization efforts at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
The Business Systems Analyst Lead’s responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to:
- Documenting requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to provide clear guidance to development teams.
- Analyzing gathered requirements to ensure they are clear, complete, and aligned with business objectives.
- Supporting testing activities, reviewing test cases, and verifying that the implemented solution meets the desired outcomes.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between different stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of requirements, addressing questions or concerns.
- Identifying opportunities for system enhancements, analyzing existing processes, identifying bottlenecks or inefficiencies, and proposing solutions to streamline workflows and increase productivity.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.
- Proven experience leading teams and managing cross-functional projects.
- Strong ability to translate business needs into technical and analytical requirements.
- Demonstrated experience with Agile or other rapid application development methods.
- Excellent leadership, communication (written & oral), and collaboration skills; comfortable interacting with engineers and senior executives alike.
- U.S. Citizenship Required.
- Must have the ability to obtain / maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Must reside near Woodlawn, MD as this is a hybrid role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in healthcare IT and understanding of regulatory requirements such as HIPAA.
- Experience with Center for Medicare and Medicaid Service (CMS) or Federal Healthcare Programs.
- Experience and/or knowledge of CMS processes and standards.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Oracle Siebel or Pega.
