Program Overview
About The Role
Peraton seeks a Cyber Risk/Threat Analyst to support to support Department of Defense Cyber Defense Command (DCDC) with DCO AI Cyber Security Support. Location: Fort Meade, MD. In this role, you will conduct cyber risk assessments and threat intelligence analysis to support operational decision-making and improve situational awareness.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform operational risk characterization for DODIN
- Analyze cyber threats and intelligence feeds
- Conduct ASOM analysis on cyber topics
- Produce threat assessments and recommendations
- Correlate events with external intelligence
- Support cybersecurity readiness assessments
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.
- Experience in cyber threat intelligence
- Knowledge of threat frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK)
- Risk assessment methodologies
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Understanding of DODIN architecture
- U.S Citizenship required
- DoD TS with ability to obtain/maintain SCI clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- GIAC certifications preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Intelligence, or related field
- 5-8 years specific experience
