Program Overview
About The Role
Peraton’s Space & Intelligence Sector is looking for a Software Engineer to join our diverse team at our Herndon, VA, office. The candidate will work within a cross-functional Agile Scrum Team primarily focusing on building and maintaining systems running in a containerized environment.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience; OR a Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience; OR a PhD with 0+ years of relevant experience an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree requirement
- Significant Java and Python development experience
- Experience with SQL
- Shell Script experience
- Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux
- TS/SCI with Poly
Preferred Qualifications
- Security+ or equivalent certification and willingness to serve as a privileged user supporting deployed systems testing
- Experience with Kubernetes (Red Hat OpenShift or another variant)
- Familiarity with NiFi
- Experience with cross-domain systems
- Experience with JavaScript
