Program Overview
About The Role
Peraton seeks a Data Steward to support Department of Defense Cyber Defense Command (DCDC) with DCO AI Cyber Security Support.
Location: Fort Meade, MD.
In this role, you will ensure data quality, maintain data dictionaries, and support data stewardship activities across DCDC analytic platforms. You will maintain the quality, usage, privacy, and security of data, following company policies and regulatory compliance requirements.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitor and improve data quality
- Maintain data dictionaries and metadata
- Perform data validation and profiling
- Support SchemaOne compliance
- Coordinate with data producers and consumers
- Document data quality issues and resolutions
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
- Experience with data quality tools and methods
- Knowledge of data profiling and validation
- SQL and data analysis skills
- Understanding of metadata management
- Attention to detail
- U.S Citizenship required
- DoD TS with ability to obtain/maintain SCI clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Data Steward (CDS) or other data quality certification
- Familiarity with Data Stewardship Body of Knowledge (DSBOK)
- 8 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Management or a related field
