Program Overview
About The Role
We're seeking an exceptional Business Process Consultant to support a department front office in advancing critical programs through rigorous governance, process management, and executive support.
This role demands a highly proactive, detail-oriented professional capable of supporting senior leadership in a fast-paced, technically complex environment with minimal oversight. The ideal candidate will manage multiple competing priorities, coordinate complex governance processes, and operate with the pace and precision required to support mission-critical operations.
The candidate must possess exceptional organizational skills and the ability to quickly grasp the technical concepts related to emerging technologies and system development lifecycles. Experience with or exposure to artificial intelligence concepts and tools is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Governance and Architecture Support
- Support the establishment and operation of governance bodies, including scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and tracking decisions and follow-up actions.
Meeting Coordination and Executive Support
- Prepare and coordinate meetings for technical and leadership forums, including agendas, materials, minutes, note taking, and action item follow-up.
- Coordinate with stakeholders across multiple organizational elements.
Communications and Documentation
- Produce high-quality communications ranging from informal email interactions to formal memos, presentations, and executive briefings, with exceptional attention to grammar, punctuation, formatting, and technical accuracy.
Task and Knowledge Management
- Manage tasking requests and track milestones, ensuring proper documentation and closure.
- Organize and maintain documentation and support the development and implementation of knowledge management processes.
- Support special projects and initiatives as assigned.
Business Process Improvement
- Document and evaluate business and engineering processes, exploring opportunities for improvements to enhance effectiveness and drive operational excellence.
- Support implementation of approved process improvements.

Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Experience with organizational business systems and applications (knowledge management, tasking platforms, document management, and others).
- Ability to quickly grasp and communicate technical concepts related to system development, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies.
Professional Experience
- Program or project management experience in intelligence or technical environments
- Experience supporting senior executive leadership in fast-paced settings with multiple competing priorities and exceptional organizational skills.
- Experience with technical governance, architecture reviews, or system development lifecycle processes.
- Experience coordinating across multiple organizational stakeholders and technical teams.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to plan and lead major assignments independently.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills. Must be very polished and able to tailor content to technical and executive audiences.
- Outstanding attention to detail with commitment to accuracy and quality.

Education
- Minimum of 8 years experience with BS/BA, 6 years with MS/MA, or 3 years with PhD; 4 years of additional experience in lieu of degree
