About The Role
Peraton seeks a DevSecOps Developer to support Department of Defense Cyber Defense Command (DCDC) with DCO AI Cyber Security Support.
Location: Fort Meade, MD.
In this role, lead DevSecOps practices for the Analytic Development Team, implementing secure CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and automated testing within the CDSO framework.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for analytic applications
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform/Ansible
- Integrate security scanning and compliance checks into pipelines
- Manage containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Ensure code quality through automated testing
- Collaborate with security team on DevSecOps standards
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
- Kubernetes certification
- Expert knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Strong experience with IaC (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
- Proficiency in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of security scanning tools and practices
- Experience with version control and branching strategies
- U.S Citizenship required
- DoD TS with ability to obtain/maintain SCI clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS DevOps or equivalent
- 8 years specific experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
