Program Overview
About The Role
Peraton is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative, operational, and documentation support to the Program Management Office (PMO) supporting CBP analytics and intelligence programs.
This role independently manages and coordinates executive activities, supports program governance processes, and produces clear, accurate, and professional documentation for leadership and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in supporting IT program environments, with the ability to translate technical and programmatic information into concise executive-level communications and proactively manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Support will be provided across multiple mission locations:
- Ashburn, VA
- Sterling, VA
- Washington, D.C.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide executive and administrative support to PMO leadership, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and communications.
- Prepare meeting agendas, document minutes, and track action items for program governance and leadership meetings.
- Develop, edit, and maintain program documentation including status reports, risk registers, decision logs, and executive briefings.
- Collect and consolidate information from multiple teams to produce weekly and monthly program reports and presentations.
- Serve as a liaison between PMO leadership, program teams, and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication and coordination.
- Support planning and coordination of program events, including Program Increment (PI) planning sessions, workshops, and executive briefings.
- Maintain document repositories and version control in collaboration platforms such as SharePoint or Confluence.
- Track program milestones, deliverables, and deadlines to support reporting and program oversight.
- Partner with the PMO with governance processes, documentation traceability, and audit readiness.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA. 9 years with HS diploma/equivalent can be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 2+ years of experience supporting executive leadership, PMOs, or IT program environments.
- Strong technical writing and editing skills with experience producing executive-level documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint.
- Experience with project management or Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Clearance Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain CBP BI suitability.
- U.S. Citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Information Technology, or related field.
- Familiarity with Agile, SAFe, or ITIL frameworks.
- Experience supporting federal or regulated IT programs.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Ability to interpret technical concepts and translate them into clear, concise documentation for executive audiences.
