Program Overview
About The Role

Peraton is seeking a seasoned Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative and operational support to the Defense Mission and Health Solutions Sector. This role will directly support the Sector President and the immediate leadership team. The position is based in Reston, VA.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

The Executive Assistant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Manage executive calendars and schedules, ensuring efficient use of leadership time and priorities.
  • Coordinate meetings and events, including drafting agendas, preparing materials, and documenting meeting minutes.
  • Gather and manage information from multiple sources, including highly sensitive and confidential company and employee information.
  • Prepare draft documents, reports, and correspondence for executive review or signature based on dictation, handwritten notes, or independent preparation.
  • Review and manage incoming communications, including opening, annotating, and routing mail and email appropriately.
  • Serve as an administrative resource for team members across the department or organization.
  • Prepare and process capital expenditure requests.
  • Develop and maintain electronic and paper filing systems to ensure efficient document management.
  • Process employee-related documentation, including requisitions, hiring paperwork, personnel action forms, security documentation, and other HR-related forms.
  • Provide support on special projects as requested by leadership.
  • Assist with financial reporting and tracking.
  • Prepare and submit expense reports, organizing receipts and supporting documentation.
  • Perform additional administrative or operational duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or a High School diploma with 10 years of related professional experience, or equivalent work-related experience supporting executives and Boards of Directors.
  • Proven experience managing executive calendars, schedules, and time priorities.
  • Experience planning and coordinating executive travel in accordance with company travel policies.
  • Experience preparing presentation materials and providing guidance on format and layout for other administrative staff.
  • Experience coordinating supply purchases, purchase orders, and office equipment maintenance.
  • Experience organizing and coordinating departmental meetings, events, and employee celebrations.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and problem-solving ability.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation with strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to anticipate needs, take initiative, and provide proactive support.
SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range

Details

Target Salary Range: $66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
