Program Overview
About The Role
Do you want to be part of a team that supports one-of-a-kind Computer Network Operations (CNO) capabilities and systems? Peraton is looking for someone who possesses the technical skills of a Network Engineer. In this role you will provide 24/7/365 active monitoring of WAN links and network systems and maintain the policies within the Joint 802.1x Platform. Supervise and maintain devices in the Joint Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting (AAA) Platform (e.g., Base/Post/Camp/Stations (B/P/C/S) switches). Operate scopes on the Joint Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) platform for Theater Level Virtual Private Network (VPN) Routing and Forwarding (VRFs) instances, and on the Joint DHCP platform for user Community of Interest (COI) Level VRF instances. This position is also responsible for the support and management of: Resource Public Key Infrastructure (RPKI)-to-Router (RTR) and server VRFs, Core-Access Control System (ACS)/Intrusion Detection System (IDS), Edge – Exchange ActiveSync (EAS), Joint Base-Customer Edge (JB-CE) routers, Role Based Access Control (RBAC), firewall, Client Remote Access (RA) VPN, DoD enterprise initiatives such as the Joint Regional Security Stack (JRSS), and Web Content Filter (WCF).
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA
- Possess an active Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert (CCIE) certification.
- A minimum of five years of experience managing a global WAN.
- Possess the appropriate certifications to achieve DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level III
- An active Secret security clearance
Desired Qualifications:
- A minimum of ten years of relevant IT experience including a minimum of five years of Network Engineering and Operations Enterprise experience
- Experience with the Army National Guard
