Program Overview
About The Role
Peraton is hiring a Lead Associate Software Engineer (SWE) to support the government’s Processing and Analytic Capabilities Office initiatives including a large High Performance Computing (HPC)-related program. These programs are cutting edge and include everything from HPC test planning and execution, architecture design and prototyping, and vendor outreach and collaboration support.
The SWE will perform use case development, requirements collection and produce documentation to support architecture development, design, testing, and documentation of software at the component level. The SWE will also be responsible for collaborating with government leadership at the cryptologic centers and will provide and implement recommendations teams in reference to software capabilities.
To increase the chance of selection, candidates with the following skills/experience are highly preferred:
- Database- experience with both relational (SQL) and graph databases; experience working with API's to interface with databases
- Python development
- Use Case Development/Requirements Documentation

Qualifications
Qualifications.
- Position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Required Education / Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus seven (7) years of software engineering experience, OR
- High School Diploma or GED plus Eleven (11) years of software engineering experience.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
