Program Overview
About The Role
Peraton seeks an RMF/Compliance Specialist to support Department of Defense Cyber Defense Command (DCDC) with DCO AI Cyber Security Support. Location: Fort Meade, MD. In this role, you will ensure compliance with RMF, Zero Trust, and cybersecurity standards, managing accreditation documentation and security assessments.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage RMF accreditation processes
- Ensure Zero Trust and SchemaOne compliance
- Develop and maintain security documentation
- Conduct compliance assessments and audits
- Coordinate with governance teams
- Track and remediate compliance findings
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
- Expert knowledge of RMF process
- Experience with eMASS and security documentation
- Understanding of NIST and DoD security controls
- Knowledge of Zero Trust principles
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- One of the following IA Cybersecurity certifications is required: CISSP, CISM, or CAP. Must complete or renew within 30 days of employment. Funding available for subsequent renewal costs.
- U.S Citizenship required
- DoD TS with ability to obtain/maintain SCI clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or related field
