Program Overview
About The Role
Provide senior task-level leadership for Senior Military Engagement Program (SMEP) engagement activities across CCMDs. Ensure sustained support, enable flexible personnel movement to meet shifting priorities, and coordinate SMEP implementation and stakeholder engagement across theaters.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as principal lead for SMEP engagement across CCMDs; manage personnel allocation and movement based on evolving priorities.
- Ensure contractor-provided support is responsive to CCMD requirements and maintains continuity throughout performance period.
- Coordinate with CCMD/TSOC/J39 stakeholders to align SMEP activities with theater objectives and policies.
- Provide program/project management oversight, schedule and task tracking, risk identification/mitigation, and status reporting.
- Plan, convene, and support conferences, working groups, and high-level engagement events as required.
- Prepare and present decision-grade briefings, reports, and recommendations for senior leadership.
- Maintain quality assurance of deliverables and mentor subordinate task leads and teams.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Education and years of Experience: Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
- Clearance: TS with eligibility for SCI at proposal submission and ability to maintain SCI access.
- Certifications: PMI PgMP or PMI PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience (within last 7 years) directly supporting projects requiring working knowledge of J39 operations, issuances, and policies.
- Skills: Program/project management, stakeholder engagement at CCMD level, senior‑leader briefings, personnel/task coordination across regions.
Desired / Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years’ experience leading implementation of Information Operations–related programs.
- Professional education/training in Psychological Operations or Information Operations.
- Prior SMEP, DoD, SOF, or USSOCOM experience.
- Experience leading distributed, multi‑regional teams and coordinating interagency/coalition engagements.
