Program Overview
About The Role
Peraton seeks a System Admin/DBA to support Department of Defense Cyber Defense Command (DCDC) with DCO AI Cyber Security. Location: Fort Meade, MD. In this role, you will administer systems and databases supporting DCDC analytic platforms, ensuring availability, security, and performance.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer Linux/Windows systems
- Manage databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
- Perform routine backups and recovery
- Maintain system security and patching
- Monitor logs for errors and intrusions
- Support system scalability requirements
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
Strong Linux/Windows administration
Database administration experience
Backup and recovery procedures
Security hardening knowledge
Scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell)
- U.S Citizenship required
- DoD TS with ability to obtain/maintain SCI clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Linux certifications and/or database certifications
- 8 years of specific experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
