Program Overview
About The Role
Peraton seeks a Technical Project Manager to support Department of Defense Cyber Defense Command (DCDC) with DCO AI Cyber Security Support.
Location: Fort Meade, MD.
In this role, you will serve as lead for the Enablers Team and provide overall contractor program management for DCDC support, coordinating across all organizational units. Your overall mission encompasses platform infrastructure, program management, and continuous improvement.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide overall contractor program management for 38 FTEs
- Lead team of 9 infrastructure and governance professionals
- Coordinate across all five organizational units
- Ensure alignment with Commander priorities
- Manage program status, risks, and resources
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.
- Requires Program Management Professional (PMP) or comparable certification
- Strong technical program management experience
- Understanding of big data and cloud infrastructure
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- 5+ years managing teams in DoD environment
- U.S Citizenship required
- DoD TS with ability to obtain/maintain SCI clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe®) Certification such as:
- Certified SAFe for Teams
- Certifed SAFe for Architects
- Lean Portfolio Management SAFe
- SAFe Agile Product Management
- Bachelor's degree is required; Master's degree is preferred in Engineering, IT Management, or a related field
- 12 years of related experience
