Program Overview
About The Role

Peraton is seeking an energetic, seasoned Assistant to the CTO / Chief of Staff who will partner with the CTO Office’s executive leadership team to provide day-to-day operational support. This position is located in Annapolis Junction, MD with the opportunity for a flexible, hybrid work approach.

This individual will be responsible for:

  • Planning and executing connections and meet-ups among a multitude of different stakeholders both internal to Peraton and externally. Creating a framework and developing a plan around maximizing leadership collaboration is a fundamental component of this role. Partner with the executive team to link meet-ups with key initiatives and business goals.
  • Ensure timely execution of strategic projects by coordinating stakeholders and resources.
  • Developing content for strategy, projects, board meetings, communications, and other critical deliverables in a way that conveys information that resonates with its intended audience. This content includes diverse technical and business presentations and requires significant creative thinking and excellent visualization and communication.
  • Supporting facilitation of strategy meetings and leveraging facilitation techniques that empower creative collaboration among executive teams.
  • Improve internal processes to maximize productivity across the leadership team.
  • Prepare agendas and materials for executive meetings, and ensure follow-ups are completed.
  • Assisting in meeting planning and preparation work, including extensive site visits, i.e., drafting agendas, minutes, and information on meetings
  • Manage calendars, internal and external business meetings, conference calls, etc. Orchestrate frequently changing calendars and maintaining all aspects of confidential executive level appointments, meetings, receptions, town halls, video conferences and live meetings
  • Extensive “first-level” point of contact and people skills, including previous experience working with a broad array of strong personalities, calendar management, travel, and all other forms of communication.
  • Providing administrative support to the CTO, and the CTO’s executive leadership team, as needed.
  • Securing information from various sources, including highly sensitive and confidential company and employee information.
  • Providing financial report support and preparing expense reports from receipts and schedule.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 10 years of professional experience
  • A bachelor’s degree in a business-related field; Experience in lieu of a degree will be considered (eg. 4 additional years for a bachelors)
  • High level proficiency with full Microsoft suite of products, with a strong focus on PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong business acumen or willingness to learn how we run the business; familiarization with business systems
  • Initiative, “event-planner-like” organization skills to include travel and off-site events
  • Supreme attention to detail and responsiveness
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills –listening is really important—as is questioning
  • Collaborative: Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams
  • Ability to handle stressful business situations in a rapid changing environment
  • High level of confidence and protection for confidential files and communications
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities flawlessly in a cool, calm, and professional manner
  • The ability to be flexible, recognizing that you may be managing several conflicting stakeholder needs
  • Occasional travel to corporate sites and events
SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range

Details

Target Salary Range: $86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
