  • Support and manage leave of absence programs (e.g., FMLA, short-term disability, long-term disability, state-mandated leaves), ensuring clear, compassionate communication and seamless coordination between employees, managers, and vendors.
  • Analyze data and trends using Excel and internal systems (HRIS, Payroll, Benefits Administration System) to drive operational insights, reporting accuracy, and continuous improvement.
  • Reconcile benefits-related invoices and payments, including tracking and calculating HSA contributions and employer funding with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Handle sensitive claims (i.e., Life/AD&D, disability, FMLA, medical/Rx, etc.) with discretion, compassion, and accuracy, ensuring timely processing and coordination with relevant parties.
  • Conduct regular audits to maintain data integrity across systems and pro-actively address discrepancies with internal and external partners.
  • Process critical documentation related to Medicare, loss of coverage, QMSCOs, adoption assistance, and state-mandated leave programs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Compensation, Compliance, Legal, and other teams to support inquiries, initiatives, and process improvements that elevate both administration and the employee experience.
  • Champion a culture of excellence, bringing strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and professional communication—both written and verbal—to every interaction.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience with Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Health-care, or similar area required.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Familiarity with government contracting a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail oriented with superb analytical skills, including advanced Excel capabilities.
