Program Overview
About The Role

Peraton has an exciting and important opportunity for an experienced Cloud Database Architect to support a critical agency within the Federal Government, working within the Office of Information Technology (OCIO). The right candidate has extensive experience in Computer Science, Information Technology and/or Engineering. You are a strong collaborator who is committed to ensuring the safety and security of our nation. You will be Key Personnel leading support for a suite of government developed information systems designed to tackle the agency’s mission.

This position will be located in the Washington, DC/MD/VA area.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design and management of the agency’s data infrastructure.
  • Leading the development of robust database designs to facilitate efficient data storage, retrieval, and analysis, including compatibility and interoperability among various data sources and systems used across the agency.
  • Collaborating closely with other IT teams and stakeholders to help shape the agency’s data architecture to effectively support the agency’s mission.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience with BS/BA; 6 years of experience with MS/MA
  • 8 years of experience in Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering.
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Professional Certification required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance prior to starting contract related work.
  • Experience interfacing and being responsive to customers, preferably in a federal government environment.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical staff.
  • U.S. Citizenship required

SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range

Details

Target Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
