Are you ready to make an impact? Peraton is seeking Cloud Systems Administrators to join our dynamic Cyber Intelligence team in Annapolis Junction, MD. In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting critical national security missions by maintaining and optimizing large-scale cloud-based computing clusters. We’re looking for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, are eager to grow their technical expertise, and want to contribute to a highly collaborative and mission-focused team.
Provide implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance support for complex cloud computing environments.
Collaborate closely with a team of seasoned engineers and follow mission-critical Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Continuously learn and apply new technologies with mentorship from senior technical staff.
Contribute to automation and scripting tasks using languages like Bash, Perl, or Python.
Administer core Linux systems and services, including user/group management, LDAP, DHCP, DNS, and TFTP.
Utilize tools like Puppet and Salt for system configuration and infrastructure management.
A strong desire to grow and learn within a technically rich environment.
A collaborative mindset and a willingness to follow guidance from senior engineers.
Hands-on experience with Linux system administration and scripting.
Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Puppet and SALT.
Solid foundational knowledge of enterprise IT systems and networking protocols.
