About The Role

This Configuration Manager (CM) supports the customer’s Computer Forensic Laboratory and is responsible for coordinating with Procurement Management to order and renew all laboratory software/hardware, maintaining and managing laboratory software licensing, troubleshooting software/hardware issues, preparing equipment for trial support, software validation, coordinating with other Directorates, creating forensic workstation builds, and inventory and asset management.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD
  • Secret clearance required
  • Experience with desk-side IT support
  • Experience supporting variety of IT technologies to include installing software and hardware (Workstations, Laptops, Mobile devices, etc.)
  • Self-motivated and proactive – able to work independently with minimal supervision, identify opportunities and develop new ideas
  • Spec new hardware and software as needed for baseline requirements and maintain software/hardware configurations
  • Able to plan and prioritize team workload to ensure objectives are achieved on time
  • Experience working in a professional security environment balancing multiple tasks and prioritizing as required
  • Team Player – Ability to contribute to a much larger team ensuring Mission Critical Facilities issues and customer requests are met in a timely fashion
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner with senior executive government staff

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 8570 IAT Level II Certification or equivalent

Details

Target Salary Range: $66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
